TEMPRANA REHABILITATION
What is Temprana?
Developed by Lone Sorenson, the Temprana method is a brain re-training concept usually based at the client's home, composed of different neurological stimulation methods, muscle reflex therapy and Brain Gym. Nutritional counselling and advice on supplements is also included.
The brain's ability for neuroplasticity means that by stimulating reflex areas and points on the face, feet and hands we produce new nerve connections, re-training the brain and body's functions helping to optimise functionality of the brain, chemical processes, endocrine system, blood circulation, organs and muscles.
After a thorough consultation the Temprana instructor will create a unique program adapted to the individual situation.
Temprana Reflex therapy – is 100% natural and therefore completely without risk for children and adults.

Temprana Method for special needs therapy
Children with learning problems, difficulty concentrating, sleep problems, ADHD, OCD or autism need especially gentle, relaxing and friendly treating. Reflex therapy can be performed by the professional therapist and can be taught as a home training method to parents or other care-givers.
The method aims to reduce the child's common illnesses and dysfunctions, relieve and alleviate symptoms whilst simultaneously helping to improve mental and emotional functions. The stimulation is especially successful and relaxing as part of a bedtime ritual.
The Process
Home Training with Temprana method is a 3 day training course. Commitment is essential as it is a long-term process; depending on each person's situation, the program must be performed 4-7 times a week for at least 12 months.
The full daily programme takes 1 hour and 15 minutesto perform, but can be divided into 2 sessions of 35-40 minutes. For example, hands and feet in the morning and face in the evening. Stimulation of the face is very relaxing therefore we advise performing face reflex therapy program before bed.
Follow-up consultations
After learning the stimulation programme the family periodically receives follow-up advice to refine and develop the treatment. Regular contact between the family and therapist is recommended. Nerve points that receive the same stimulation eventually become 'dulled' and the effect is diminished therefore it is necessary to receive further training over the course of one year. Follow-up and adjustment consultation appointments are advised every 3-4 months. These follow-up consultations take 2-3 hours.
Treatment: This is an extended rehabilitation course, to be discussed in person.
