Why I became a Dream Builder transformational coach
The email from the Brave Thinking Institute about their Dream Builder Coaching (DBC) programme came out of nowhere. To this day, I’m not quite sure how it landed in my inbox. What matters, though, is that it did when I was in a dark place.
Like so many of us, at the time I felt I was juggling too many responsibilities. This email presented me with a choice. I could keep struggling and worrying, or I could take matters into my own hands, and examine how many of my challenges stemmed from my own mindset.
So, I enrolled in the programme. Little did I know that 12 weeks later, I would emerge with a plan that taught me the invaluable lesson that sometimes all it takes is a small opening to invite new perspectives and growth. I was transformed.
The most profound realisation for me was that achieving your deepest desires and making a meaningful impact doesn't hinge on external conditions or facts. It's about transcending those limitations and tapping into your inner potential. Overcoming the challenge of seeing beyond these obstacles was the most rewarding aspect of the programme for me. It's what ignited my passion to share these teachings with others.
The fully-remote programme opened up my mind to a different way of thinking and acting. I have been a reflexologist for years, but I can truly identify a ‘before and after joining’ DBC, in terms of my business success as well as my personal life and relationships. I started welcoming each day instead of dreading it! Ideas flowed naturally and helped me expand my practice, not least by becoming a certified Dream Builder Transformational coach.
I went into reflexology to help people, and then I realised that I could offer even more support by combining some of my neuro-reflexology knowledge with coaching and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT/tapping). The combination with EFT is particularly powerful because it helps clients move past their limiting beliefs. This technique empowers them to navigate through the barriers that hold them back, uncovering the root causes and releasing their grip. With EFT, they gain the clarity and resilience needed to confidently rebuild a life they truly cherish!
This January, I welcomed my first set of coaching clients. Over the next few weeks, I plan to share with you their feedback on the course so you can see first-hand how transformative it is and maybe join later this year.
